About TRCN
The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is a federal government agency under the Federal Ministry of Education. It regulates and controls the teaching profession in Nigeria. To ensure credibility, transparency, and efficiency in promotional examinations for registered teachers, the Maiduguri zonal division partnered with Zebitech to drive CBT delivery.
The Project & Delivery
Local CBT Setup & Hosting
Zebitech deployed an offline local network server configuration using the ZebiTest engine to host examination question banks. This ensured zero-downtime, fully secure operations unaffected by local internet connectivity issues.
Candidate Verification & Invigilation
We implemented biometric verification and pre-exam clearance workflows, coordinating invigilators and providing clear training for exam supervisors to prevent exam malpractice.
Instant Grading & Secure Reports
After candidates finished their tests, grading was computed automatically and secure result spreadsheets were compiled with full cryptographic hashes for direct submission to the national regulatory council.
Impact & Results
